大頭雪糕仔/妹匙扣, ICE CREAM DOLLS :GIRL/BOY HEAD
雪糕妹是八十年代風行的玩具, 由香港廠製造, 主要銷售到美國市場。 而香港也因應市場的潮流，也做了香港版本, 粉紅色的頭髮, 穿著粉紅色士多啤梨圖案裙子, 還有一頂粉紅色帽子。 她身上掛有一杯軟雪糕，像斜孭手袋般揹著, 所以名為雪糕妹. 她亦有一個男伴, 被名為雪糕仔。 他們的頭及手部都是搪膠來做的, 是當時香港最拿手的工藝產品.
Ice Cream Girl
Manufactured in Hong Kong, Ice Cream Girl has been a very popular toy since the 1980s. Despite its primary market in U.S. a special Hong Kong edition was also produced due to its popularity. In her strawberry-patterned dress, her rosy hat, shell-pink hair and the signature ice cream softy crossbody completed her adorable image. Not only was the Girl produced, there was also her play pal, the Ice Cream Boy. Both their heads and hands were made in polypropylene, which was certainly one of Hong Kong’s arty crafts back then.
